In 2006 we bought two pure bred Pedigree Blue Texel ewes to start a new flock of Blue Texel Pedigree Sheep. The emphasis on good conformation and tight skins with the correct markings. We bought a yearling ewe from D.G. Jones & M.H. Jones from the Dulas flock. She was 1st prize Yearling Ewe at the NSA Sheep sale at Builth Wells September 2006. We also bought a two year old ewe from Mr Dennis Davies Marteg flock at his dispersal sale September 2006. She was the mother of the ram lamb (Jonsland - UK-701568-4701-N) below that was Champion overall Blue Texel at the Royal Welsh Show 2007. In 2008 we bought four Blue Texel in lamb Yearling Ewes from David and Jennifer Alexander (Millside flock)

Both sheep were bought from David and Jennifer Alexander (Millside flock) Champion overall Blue Texel Yearling Ram and Reserve Champion Blue Texel Yearling Ewe at the NSA sheep sale Builth Wells September 2009.

Blue Texel sheep are one of the most recent breeds to be imported into the UK. Blue Texels are quickly gaining popularity with commercial sheep farmers as terminal sires for prime lamb production.
